“I have been in cleantech for over 20 years, yet I was relatively new to Colorado. The Energy Fellows Institute was a swift deep dive into the amazing Colorado Cleantech scene and the leaders in it. If you want to get to know. If you want to get to know the technology and businesses leading the way in our clean technology future, just say yes!”

“I have worked in clean energy innovation for most of my career and have lived in Colorado my whole life, and I still got tremendous value out of the Energy Fellows program. There is just so much going on across the state that it's almost impossible to keep track of everything! While I was in the program I was working at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) building a network of clean energy incubators and accelerators across the country, and part of what I learned from running that program was that Colorado has one of the highest concentration of clean energy innovation outside of coastal cities like Boston, New York, and San Francisco. The more dispersed structure of the community in a large state like Colorado means that programs like Energy Fellows are even more critical for getting a better understanding of all the work happening across universities, national labs, federal agencies, and the private sector.”
- Elizabeth (Beth) Hartman, 2018 Fellow
“I was looking at how to build a network as I considered changing careers. Energy Fellows provided a wonderful small group experience of close peers, showed me the broad landscape of what’s possible in Colorado and beyond in energy and sustainability, and the contacts I made led to an immediate job and even the job after that. I could not recommend the program more or the team behind it more.”
